The People

Jordan Kasper

Owner, Developer, Instructor

I started working on my first web site around 1996, before the rise of Google, Amazon, and many others. While I might not want to show off some of that early work, being in the field for so long has allowed me to see the changes taking place over time, and to adapt to these new environments quite well. And now my focus has shifted from small, static web sites to fully-featured interactive online applications utilizing the most current web standards.

In addition to my design and development work, I spend a lot of time instructing others in these web technologies through various conferences and community training programs. And to stay on top of the newest technology, I attend professional conferences often.

I spent 9 years at the University of Texas at Austin, four studying Computer Science, Math, and Linguistics, and five as a staff developer driving improvements to legacy systems that hadn't been revamped in decades.

I'm the kind of person who thrives on challenge, and I'm always looking for one. Given the choice between a quick and easy, but ugly solution or a simple yet elegant one that demands more work, I’ll choose the latter. Learning new things is a way of life for me, and I take every opportunity I can to do so, both for my own benefit, and for the benefit of the work produced for my clients.

Dan Kasper

Marketing and Communications Consultant

I have a very simple marketing philosophy: deliver the right message to the right target at the right time and place. The internet enables marketers to deliver tightly targeted messages in a highly engaging fashion to a finite group of potential customers like no other medium.

My communications career started in radio as an on-air announcer, commercial producer and voice talent. Since then I've spent nearly 25 years in the ad agency business developing successful marketing programs for business-to-business and consumer clients. I've worked at small, regional marketing firms on businesses you may never have heard of, and for multinational agencies including BBDO, Bates and Doner for clients like Texaco, Safeway, Novartis, BFGoodrich, Owens Corning, Dow U.S.A and Quaker State.

Now I'm utilizing the skills and experience I've acquired to bring the marketing communications strategies and techniques used by the world's largest advertisers to small and mid-size companies. I understand the challenges of a small business person, and believe that with a little smart thinking and planning, your business can be wildly successful.
